1. Is NEEDS backed by or affiliated to any political party/government association/religious institution?

A. No, NEEDs has no relation to any political party/government association/religious institution. We only work with municipal corporations to cater to the NEEDs of government schools but our surveying, delivery of goods, and monitoring thereafter is done completely by our own resources and without the influence of any external organization.

A. NEEDS takes all measures possible to ensure that donor privacy is always protected. Your personal information will remain only with NEEDS and will not be divulged to any other institution including any advertising agencies

5. If there is a problem with the net banking or credit card donation process, whom do I contact?

A. The Login details enable the donor to view their donation history and also receive progress/impact reports from NEEDS

Donation

1. How is the donation amount used?

A. The donation amounts for each item reflects the cost of each item and the cost associated with delivery of the item. In this regard the donation amount is used to first and foremost purchase the item and then also to cover the expenses of the field people who deliver the item and subsequently monitor its usage

2. What will you receive after donating?

A. A receipt with the 80G number After your donation is delivered you will be sent a picture/letter confirming delivery with details of the schools where your items have been delivered.

2. How do we monitor use of donations?

A. We have our own dedicated field people in each of our areas and they are required to visit each school once a week to ensure that the donations are being well used and only for the benefit of the students. Based on these visits, they send weekly reports directly to the founders. Major details of the visits are also captured into our half yearly reports and sent out to all donors.
